Acceptable-Use Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-16

This Acceptable-Use Policy ("AUP") sets the rules for using CloviReach responsibly. Because CloviReach is an outreach tool, these rules are load-bearing โ€” violating them can harm recipients, deliverability, and other users, and may result in suspension. This AUP supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Lawful, consented outreach

You must comply with all applicable laws governing electronic communications, including CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, and the GDPR. You are responsible for having a lawful basis (consent or legitimate interest, as applicable) to contact every person you import.

2. No purchased or scraped lists

You may not upload purchased, rented, scraped, or otherwise illegitimately obtained contact lists. Contacts must come from your own legitimate relationships or lawful sources.

3. Email obligations

  • Use accurate "from" and subject information โ€” no deceptive headers.
  • Honor opt-out requests promptly; provide a clear way to unsubscribe.
  • Do not send to recipients who have unsubscribed.

4. SMS obligations

  • Text only contacts who have opted in.
  • Keep the STOP footer intact; CloviReach appends it and auto-processes STOP replies as opt-outs.
  • Respect messaging-time and frequency norms.

5. Social

Social is draft-only โ€” CloviReach does not auto-publish to your accounts. You are responsible for what you choose to post and for complying with each network's rules.

6. Prohibited content and conduct

  • No spam, harassment, fraud, phishing, or malware.
  • No content that is illegal, deceptive, hateful, or infringing.
  • No attempts to bypass rate limits, suppression, or consent controls.

7. Deliverability protection

Sends are throttled to protect shared and individual sending reputation. You may not attempt to circumvent these protections.

8. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this AUP, with or without notice, to protect recipients, deliverability, and the service.

9. Reporting abuse
